This Salvadorian Coffee Cake is one of my top favorites. It has many versions on how it's made but the main ingredient is Parmesan Cheese. Some make it with cornmeal and it creates sort of this incredible cornbread texture with a nice sweet corn and Parmesan flavor. Others add sour cream or cream, but this version is just as good, very tasteful and you can taste the nice flavor of the Parmesan cheese and it has like a sponge cake texture...DELICIOUS!
