About Me:
Jon D. Ham has been running a successful personal training business in Southern California for over 6 years. He is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as both a Personal Trainer (CPT) and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). His focus has been on home and corporate fitness training in southern Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley. He has achieved great success in working with a wide variety of clients, each with individual needs and goals. This diversity in clientele includes athletes, seniors, those with severe orthopedic concerns, obese individuals, wheelchair bound clients, and the average personal just looking to improve their fitness. Jon has gained the respect of other professionals in the community such as doctors, chiropractors, and other fitness experts, with ability to help individuals achieve their health and fitness aspirations in a safe and professional manner.
For three years Jon has been bringing his knowledge and skills into the corporate world, trying to motivate employees with sedentary jobs to make exercise a part of their daily lives. He has attained great success by creating unique ways of bringing exercise directly to the office. His efforts have resulted in tremendous results, not only for the individuals in the program, but for the company as well. Health care costs have decreased since the implementation of Jon’s program as well as improved productivity in the workplace due energy level increases and a reduction in sick days taken.
Jon has written two e-Books, “On The Ball” and “Fitness Training For Stand Up Paddle Surfing.” These books are a part of an overall internet marketing strategy that Jon has implemented, along with the development of his own website. His website includes instructional video, informational blogs, and a community forum. With these tools, Jon hopes to reach a larger community of fitness enthusiasts, professionals, and potential clients.
Specialties:

Prior to the opening of Fitness On The Run in 2003, Jon worked as the Fitness Coordinator for Mettler Center Physical Therapy and Wellness Center in Champaign, Illinois. Jon worked closely with physical therapists to provide clients with safe exercise programs as they continued their rehabilitation for injury or those suffering from debilitating diseases such as arthritis and fibromyalgia. Jon became the most sought after trainer at the center during his time there.
