How to Make BBQ "Beer Can" Chicken

ARRABBIATA ASPARAGUS PENNE PASTA

Here is a recipe with lots of taste for how little work and time that is involved.

I made it up, and it has become a family favorite.

You will need :

1 bundle of fresh Asparagus

1 bag of pre-washed FRESH Spinach leaves ( you can use more if you like spinach)

1 jar Arrabbiata sauce ( found in the pasta sauce isle)

Thanks for posting those recipes. Couple of tips for the flank steak (because you seem like a seasoned cook and will totally get this)...

- Pat your steak dry with paper towels before seasoning. It helps the caramelization.
- Get your pan and oil screaming hot (so it just starts to smoke). This will also help caramelization.
- To put some nice color on the melted blue cheese, pop it under a low broiler for 30 seconds or so. Lemme know how it comes out.

Congratulations to your son (and to your family). What an awesome choice of profession. Tell him to check out FireFighterNation.com, a social network for fire fighters. It's really cool. I'm hoping this site eventually becomes something similar.
